It is mainly used to resist the growth of microbe in the food.
1.In our daily life, add 0.1% potassium sorbate into the soy sauce, yellow wine, vi-negar and pickles etc., you can find their taste much more better.
2. Frosted food, especially the fish and shrimp,will keep their original tenderness and fresh-ness if being soaked into the 0.3% solution of potassium sorbate for about 30 seconds before refrigeration.
