Easycap
Filling & Sealing
Information
Easycap is suitable for closing four versions: twist off metal lids; snap on or plastic screw caps on containers that can resist a vertical pressure; version with custom made collar for holding the neck of a low-density plastic bottle which body cannot withstand a vertical load; version with a three jaws head for nail paint brushes and other caps that cannot be closed with more common systems. The operator put the cap in the chuck or on the container’s mouth and pushes the two buttons placed at both sides of the machine base. The closing head descends toward the bottle, tightening the cap, while a pneumatic system blocks the container preventing it from spinning. The torque can be adjusted according to the force required to tighten the cap properly. The whole system that holds the pneumatic motor can be adjusted in height; in this way, the machine is very versatile and can close bottles up to 350 mm tall. The pneumatic bottle blocking cylinder is made to slide to prevent the rotation of plastic bottles without deforming them excessively. The bottles must resist a vertical pressure of at least 20 kg. We produce centring devices/ positioners in PVC to facilitate/allow capping. Some types of low-density plastic bottles cannot be subjected to vertical pressure. In this case we manufacture a notched collar in stainless steel which mechanically holds the bottle which is capped in "suspension". For some particular types of caps, such as nail polish brushes, the machine can be equipped with a three-jaw screwing head. In this case the cap is placed on the mouth of the bottle; the head, coming into contact with the cap, closes and the rubber grippers work on the periphery of the cap, tightening it.
