Ahmad Aghaei Pistachios: The most common feature to identify Ahmad Aghaei Pistachio is that the shape is long but the length of each piece is different. It also has the whitest shell among the four types. Kale ghouchi Pistachios: The name is derived from the shape of this type which looks like rams head. The popularity of this type of Pistachio is due to its large size and good flavor. It may resemble Fandoghi (round) pistachio, but it is generally larger and has a heavier weight and therefore has a smaller number per kilo. Fandoghi Pistachios: It is the most commonly grown pistachio in Iran. Around 50% of Iranian pistachios are Fandoghi. It has a round shape. Qazvini Sliced Pistachios: One of the most beautiful and colorful pistachio nuts is the Qazvin pistachio nut. The Qazvin pistachio nut does not crumble when cut and is one of the best types of pistachios for making pistachio slices. The distinctive feature of this kind of sliced pistachio is its bright green color, which distinguishes it from other types.
