TUFFDISC PUMPS

Tuffdisc pumps are simple pumps for delicate and tough products.  Tuffdisc pumps are uniquely designed, consisting of parallel discs called disc plates, that rotate creating a highly viscous boundary layer. This generates a unique non pulsating laminar flow, non-impingement pumping system. There are no close tolerances and design is non impingement, so there is no damage to delicate and shear sensitive products. It can easily pump large and stringy solids and abrasive products and viscous products There is very low wear and low maintenance needed as the axial and radial loads are low. NPSH requirement is also low. They have numerous applications across the industries like fruit puree, peanut butter, almond butter, syrups, sauces, caramel, candy, dairy products, honey, mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, olives, fruit pulp, salad dressing, jams, jellies, fruit pulp, and chunks, malt, oils, sliced fruits, and vegetable.... just to name a few
